Game Summit 2012
Game Summit is a 3 day meeting of the geeky minds here in Ottawa, where folks get together to paint miniatures, yell at strangers they're playing Munchkin with, and wage war with tiny plastic demons vs tanks. It's a GOOD DAMN TIME. -
Valentine's Cake Pop Class
Our first cake pop class, held February 4th at Canterbury Community Centre was a blast! Melted chocolate and sprinkles everywhere. The kind of fun that's messy in the best way possible. -

Geek Sweets goes Hollywood(ish)! Had a great time meeting some stars and baking cookies for the celebrity gift lounge and gift bags at the 31st annual Genie Awards. William Shatner tweeted me. It was the best thing ever. -
Blush Beads COLOURBOMB
Geek Sweets was glad to be a part of local jewelery designer Sandy Schnierle's trunk show for Blush Beads. Held at Hush Boutique on March 3rd, 2011, we had a girly good time, with goodies, makeovers, and of course, beautiful jewellery! -
Capital Cupcake Camp 2010
On Sunday September 26th, I walked into Ottawa city hall into a room filled with hundreds of cupcakes made by Ottawa's finest professional and amateur bakers, just waiting to be eaten. And eat them I did! And won Best Decorated Pro! It was a good day. ;)
